almotamar.net - Yemen renewed its call for stopping the Israeli aggression on the defenceless Palestinian people in Gaza and that is through the existing efforts for issuing an immediate resolution by the UN Security Council and lifting the blockade from the Palestinian territories, in the forefront of which Gaza immediately and the allowing of the passage of all medical and food assistance for removing the suffering of the Palestinian people in Gaza.

In the speech delivered by Yemen�s ambassador to Saudi Arabia Mohammed Ali Muhsin al-Ahwal , the permanent delegate of Yemen to the Organisation of Islamic Conference in the extraordinary meeting of the executive committee , he called on all Palestinian factions to abandon their differences and to start negotiations for unifying the efforts in facing the Israeli aggression and stopping it. He indicated to what Yemen has made of attempts to restore the Palestinian unity, among which its initiative for healing the Palestinian rift.

Yemen has affirmed that the Israeli aggression has violated all noble values and human and legal ethics and disrespected all international conventions that the international community was unanimous on.

Yemen also considered killing of children, women and elderly people , destruction of the entire infrastructure , including worshipping places , schools, universities , hospitals and houses of peaceful citizens evidence of a style characterized by all meanings of rancour and hatred to whatever Arab and Islamic, pointing out that the history of the Zionist regime and since its occupation of Palestine in 1948 and 1967 indicates the pursuit of this regime and these gangs through its black history and it practice for emptying the land and colonizing it. Yemen also demanded the international community, with all of its organisations, to shoulder its responsibility for stopping the aggression and lifting the blockade imposed on Gaza people.

The Yemeni permanent delegate to the IOC said the wrath, demonstrations and sit-ins all over the world in protest to what is happening in Gaza of killing, destruction and blockade requires � us to live to the responsibility and the legitimate demands that all peoples of the world are calling for and are confirmed in conventions of the United nations , the humane law and other regional organisations in the way that guarantees the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people to establishment of their independent state on their national soil.
