By: Nabil Abdul-Rab - IBB, almotamar.net Thousands of people who are shareholders at al-Nour and al-Sanabel companies, which belong to the Islah Party and linked to al-Manqadh Co., held a huge sit-in today at the General Prosecution in Ibb province. They presented a letter of complaint against the dissolution committee of these companies, which is chaired by the Islah Party Secretary General Abdul-Wahab al-Anesi.
The Shareholders Rights Committee (SRC) along with the protestors will hold another sit-in before the government premises so that they would meet with the dissolution committee in an effort to get back their money, head of SRC, Abdullah al-Aqqab told the motamar.net.
It is worth mentioning that some 5,000 shareholders in the said three companies have been following up compensations paid by the states budget. The state offered roughly 1.8 billion riyals to reimburse the shareholders money estimated at 600 million riyals. But the dissolution committee had only paid back 197 million riyals to the shareholders.
