By:almotamar.net - SANA'A� Deputy Minister of Health Dr. Abdul-Majid al-Khulaidi and US ambassador to Yemen Thomas Krajesky signed today a memorandum of understanding on a plan regarding a number of American physicians and experts who would visit Yemen to train Yemeni general practitioners in different specializations.

According to a press release issued by the US Embassy, Crege Ponami, an anesthesiologist, will train 30 Yemeni doctors in the President Hospital in Marib province, and al-Thwara Hospital of Sana'a. The training course will focus on anesthetization.

Al-Khulaidi stated that health sector in Yemen is improving markedly, namely in al-Jawf, Shabwa, Amran, Saada, and Marib provinces. He appreciated the visit of the American anesthesiologist who would train Yemeni doctors in these five provinces.
