By:almotamar.net - SANA'A, almotamar.net � The number of documents registered in courts of appeal has reached 326.035 during 2005. With 49778 documents, Aden province came first scoring 15.75 percent; while Marib province ranked last with 2408 documents, equivalent to 0.76 percent.

According to the report released by the General Documentation Department at Ministry of Justice-of which the almotamar.net received a copy- such documents are related to marriage, divorce, reconciliation, endowment, loan, votive offering, distribution of estate, and sale.

The report states marriage documents ranked No. 1, scoring 59101 documents equivalent to 18.7 percent; Taiz province came first, scoring 10657 marriage documents, while Saada province came the last one in the list, scoring 350 documents.

Divorce documents reached 3761, that is 1.19 percent. Aden province came first, scoring 737 documents, while Marib 13 documents, equivalent to 0.35 percent.
There were 415 remarriage documents, comprising 0.14 percent. With 125 documents, Al-Baida province ranked No. 1.

Contracts of sale reached 44618, while division of estate 1430 documents.
Donation, reconciliation and loan documents reached 1036, 1479 and 2325 respectively. Agencies documents got the highest number, scoring 46.26 percent.
Endowment documents scored 427, while votive offering documents 303.

This report offers a database to help study the society performance, and will assist social researchers, said Ahmed al-Qabalani head of Documentation Department.
Al-Qabalani added the statistics reveal people's ignorance of the importance of documentation.
