The defendants will be able to present their defenses in the court sitting on next Monday.

In the court session held Monday under chairmanship of Judge Muhsin Alwan the lawyer of the first defendant said the message, the prosecution attributed to the defendant Bassam al-Haydari and claimed he had sent it to the site of the Israeli prime minister office was not existing in the reply that came from the office of the Israeli premier and the reply was in Hebrew language. He said there is a difference in content of the message the prosecution claims in the indictment and the message included in the list of evidence. The lawyer clung to nullity of the evidence and the indictment.

The lawyer of the second defendant in the case Imad Ali al-Rubaie claimed nullity of the indictment and list of evidence that the prosecution attributed to his client concerning broadcast of news offending general security and spreading of fear among people. He defended on non-existence of charge and said it is invalid.

The prosecutor demanded fixing a date for the final judgment as the prosecution has completed its presentation of evidence.
