almotamar.net - Security chief of Udain district, Ibb governorate and three of his companions received slight injuries in fire exchange with a head of an armed gang wanted by the security. However, local sources confirmed death of the gang’s leader driver and the injury of two members of the gang.

Local sources told almotamar.net that the police patrol spotted the person Ali Abdullah al-Baani wanted by security over lading a gang for stealing cars and highway robbery, passing in the main street of the city Tuesday morning after a report the security received.
The sources added that companions of the gang leader initiated opening fire on the police patrol when they sensed it was following them for arresting the head of the gang who is known to be sheltering killers in addition to his political activities supporting Muslim Brotherhood leaderships in the Islah party.

Al-Baani was one of the main bodyguards of Muslim Brotherhood leaders in Yemen and one of those who returned from Afghanistan.
