During his meeting with the American ambassador to Yemen Stephen Seche, President Saleh pointed out that Yemen would carry out a rehabilitation program for the Yemeni detainees, who return home, to guarantee remerging them into the society as good citizens.

The President praised the current cooperation ties between Yemen and the USA, asserting on the importance of developing them for serving the common interests of the two friendly countries.

The meeting dealt with several issues related to the joint cooperation and bilateral ties between the two countries, particularly in the fields of security and the fight against terrorism.
