Almotamar.net - The Specialised prosecution in Yemen has completed its investigation with 17 persons accused of terror and affiliation of al-Qaeda organisation in prelude to sending them to the Specialised Criminal Court for their trial.

A judicial source said Saturday that the accused are 11 Yemeni citizens and five Syrians, among them two brothers from Al Shatti and other two brothers from Al Wahibi and one Saudi from a Yemeni origin.

26september website has quoted the source as saying that among the accused persons were caught during a storming of Tarim terrorist cell.

It is expected that the accused persons would stand trial in the next few days on charge of forming an armed group for perpetrating criminal acts and targeting some foreign interests and vital and oil installations , among them the American embassy that they missed and hit a school , the Italian embassy that they missed and hit the Customs Institute, in addition to targeting the residential complex in Hada area , killing the Belgian tourists in Hadramout , attacking security checkpoints in Hadramout, blasting an oil pipeline the French oil company TOTAL , attacking the Central Security Camp in Seyoun , attacking the Chinese company in Jashaa and attacking other Yemeni and foreign sites.
