Almotamar Net - Geologic & Mineral Wealth Survey Authority has allocated 32 investment locations for the industry of cement and ceramics out of 54 sites good for investment in field of mining in Yemen. A recent report by the Authority, obtained by almotamar.net, mentioned that the 54 sites are distributed over 3 governorates of Abyan, Lahj and Shabwa, allocated for cement and ceramics industry.

Almotamar.net - Geologic & Mineral Wealth Survey Authority has allocated 32 investment locations for the industry of cement and ceramics out of 54 sites good for investment in field of mining in Yemen. A recent report by the Authority, obtained by almotamar.net, mentioned that the 54 sites are distributed over 3 governorates of Abyan, Lahj and Shabwa, allocated for cement and ceramics industry.


The report also mentioned that the governorate of Abyan comes as first in the locations good for investments in these fields as it possesses 18 out of 36 locations. Seven of those sites are good for cement industry, 3 sites for production of feldspar ores industry, a main constituent for cement industry, 3 sites for cement gypsum industry and 2 sites for producing mud fore cement industry, bedsides one site the Authority granted for ceramics industry.

The report also determined 10 investment sites in Lahj governorate for cement and ceramics industry and around 4 sites good for production of cement were specified in Shabwa governorate.

According to the report the process of naming investment sites come as part of a project the Authority is carrying out on studying the investment sites especially for mining sector on stages including all Yemeni governorates.
