Almotamar.net - French President Nicolas Sarkozy has on Friday praised what tie Yemen and France of distinguished relation based on trust and partnership, affirming France’s desire for enhancing these relations at different levels.

President Sarkozy also pointed out results of the visit to Yemen by the French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner lately and clarified it was an indication of that desire.

The French President’s remarks came in a written message President Ali Abdullah Saleh received from the French President Sarkozy.

The message also dealt with bilateral relations and areas of cooperation ad spheres of developing them. President Sarkozy expressed his looking forward to exchange talk with President Saleh during his upcoming visit to France.

The message also contained congratulations to President Saleh on his birthday, wishing him good health and happiness and for the Yemeni people ever progress and prosperity.
