By:almotamar.net - SANA'A- The platform of the General People's Congress (GPC)'s candidate, President Ali Abdullah Saleh, stressed on holding corrupt figures accountable and referring them to justice, activating control and auditing appliances, protecting public funds, and applying reward-punishment principle.

Continuing efforts to fight administrative and financial corruption, the platform promises to apply the law of financial disclosure, issue fighting corruption law, establish an independent committee to fight financial and administrative corruption, and enhance the principle of transparency and investigation in different governmental aspects.

Under the title, "Fighting corruption: a firm choice and a non-stop course", the platform stressed on activating the role of Central Appliance for Control and Auditing (CACA), and issue required legislature that secures its being subordinate to the republic presidency and legislature power, whereby the CACA shall provide it [republic presidency] with special reports on the financial and administrative performance in all the governmental institutions.
