By:Jamil Al-Jadabi - SANA'A- An official at Ministry of Health has denied the news published by nasspress news website that al-Thawra and al-Jumhuri hospitals' employees were not allowed to participate in the Joint Meeting Parties (JMP)'s festival regarding presidential campaign.
In a statement to the almotama.net, general manager of al-Thawra hospital Dr. Ahmed al-Ansi denied the existence of what is said to be an oral circular or something else that prevents employees from participating in the festival. Such media information can be included in the frame of "cheap propaganda", he added.
Dr. Abdul-Aziz al-Dhulei', vice-manager of al-Jumhuri hospital, was surprised at such news, which he described as "illogical". "How can a circular be oral? Those who wanted to attend the festival would go there directly from their houses,"
Thursday is an official day off. Physicians and nurses working for the two hospitals attend on this day to offer medical treatment for patients.
Nasspress news website cited some workers at al-Thawra and al-Jumhuri hospitals as saying an oral circular stated they are not allowed to participate in the festival held by the JMP to promote their presidential candidate Faisal Bin Shamlan.
