Almotamar Net - Yemen Interior Ministry said Monday that the campaign of searching for weapons in the capital that began in the few past days and extended to different provinces of Yemen resulted in the capture of 20 security-wanted persons over different criminal issues in addition to seizure of 15 cars used in security violations and criminal cases. Security authorities say the daily rate of weapons seizer in the past few days has amounted to 400-450 pieces of arms.

The Interior ministry Information Centre mentioned that the campaign of searching for weapons would continue at the same rate in different Yemeni cities and there would be no exception of anyone�s weapon and that the decision of banning carrying weapons applies to all.
It is to be mentioned that about 80 armed groups and 300 offices and non-commissioned officers as well as soldiers from political security, emergency police, and policemen are participating in the inspection campaign carried out in two shifts in the capital since the end of last week.
