Almotamar.net - Head of the Information Office at the General People�s Congress GPC Tareq al-Shamy considered the talk of the secretary general of the Nasserite Unionist Organisation Sultan al-Attwani on the acts offending the Yemeni unity in some areas in the southern and eastern governorates a strange matter.

Al-Shamy wondered about the secret behind this worldly wisdom and insight that al-Attwani sensed through it that the authority is responsible at the time he kept silent towards the acts and practices violating the law such as blocking roads, provoking sedition and resorting to the use of violence by those elements as well as targeting private and public property and disturbance of the society�s security and peace.

Al-Shamy added that it seems that al-Attwani has forgotten that he had taken a constitutional oath on preserving the constitution and unity of the homeland. He said the more surprising of all that is that al-Attwani claims to be one of the nationalists who work for the Arab unity while �we have not heard of him of any stand against those who target the national unity and provoke seditions and hatred among the society.�
