Almotamar.net - President Ali Abdullah Saleh congratulated Monday the Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad for his winning the presidential elections.
In a congratulatory telegram to Ahmadinejad President Saleh expressed sincerest congratulations and heartfelt feelings on the occasion of his winning the presidential elections and the renewal confidence of the Iranian people in him.

President Saleh also confirmed the brotherly relations between Yemen and Iran whose roots are derived from the historical ties and bilateral relations that are being strengthened under the common desire for pushing them towards more advanced horizons for the realization of the two countries and peoples common interests .
