Almotamar.net - Foreign ministers of the United States of America, Gulf Cooperation Council GCC's states; Egypt, Jordan and Iraq have emphasized keenness of their countries on Yemen's unity, security and stability.

In a joint statement at the end of a closed-door meeting held on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly deliberations in New York the foreign ministers pointed out their concern regarding the situation in Yemen.

The statement confirmed full support of their countries for the government of President Ali Abdullah Saleh for preserving g the unity, security and stability of Yemen as well as for exerting prompt efforts for finding political dialogue.

The ministers also stressed the significance of securing security of the civilians and relief workers and providing safe passages for urgent assistance and relief supplies to the civilians affected by the acts of rebellion and destruction in Saada province.

The ministers also repeated their support for the economic and political reforms the Yemeni government is carrying out, confirming their governments' desire for continuation in offering aid to Yemen that would help improve the standard of living of its citizens.
