Almotamar.net - Number of victims of the riot acts in the city of Dhalie in Yemen on Wednesday rose to 8 injured persons from security men, among theme the guard of the Agricultural Bank. It was a result of attacks with stones on government establishments and public and private institutions committed by armed rioters from elements of the so-called the movement.

Medical sources at An-Nassr Hospital have confirmed receiving seven soldiers wounded in Hubeil Jabari as a result of armed attacks on a security checkpoint while another policeman was wounded in similar attack at Shueib crossroads.

Director of the Agricultural Bank in Dhalie mentioned to the almotamar.net that one of the bank guards was taken to hospital after receiving serious injuries in an attack on the bank by a group of rioters whose attacks also included government institutions and nearby trade shops.

Director of Dhalie security Ghazi Ahmed Ali said security apparatuses arrested around 40 persons of those instigating riot and who tried to storm banks in the city, to attack security men, blocking roads and removing the country flags from government buildings.

News Yemen website has quoted the security chief of Dhalie as saying that 8 security soldiers were injured in shooting fire at them by rioters in addition to slight injuries on five citizens, pointing out that the situations are under control and roads were re-opened and are cleared of stones.

Eyewitnesses told almotamar.net that after a demonstration gunmen blocked public roads, prevented traffic and brought down the national flags in a provocative move against security men there.

It is to be mentioned that Joint Meeting Parties possess majority of the local authority seats in Dhalie governorate that during the past two years had witnessed repeated riot acts under banners of rights and changed to chanting secessionist and regionalist slogans.
