Almotamar.net - The Specialised Criminal Court in Yemen is to hold next week the first of its sittings for the trial of two new cells belonging to the al-Houthi terrorist gang in Saada province and Bani Husheish.
Judicial sources clarified to Almotamar.net that the first cell is composed of 8 defendants led by an officer with a rank of captain and the second cell consists of 7 defendants headed by Ahmed Hussein Ahmed al-Shami. The prosecution accuses them of participating in the year 2004 until July 2008 in armed gangs for carrying out a criminal scheme, planning and preparation for acts of killing, explosion and destruction and the following violence and exposing the society's safety and security to danger.

The sources indicated that they prepared for those plans heavy and light weapons , ammunition, rockets and explosives , raising money , means of transport, preparing positions and digging barricades in Saada province and Bani Husheish district ad around it.

The sources indicated that those acts resulted in killing and wounding a large number of armed forces and security men as well as citizens, women and children and destruction and seizing military equipment and means of transport.
