Almotamar.net - The World Bank (WB) has revealed on Saturday its intention to implement a survey on the investment opportunities in Yemen in the next period.

Chairman of the WB team Ms Julia Valeria currently on a visit to Yemen pointed out that the survey, which is the first of its kind in the Middle East, is represented by conducting a survey especially on improving investment opportunities in the Yemeni countryside.


During her meeting in Thamar province on Saturday with Secretary General of Thamar Local Council Mujahed Shayef al-Ansi, the WB official clarified that Yemen is the 7th country in the world where the WB executes this survey, indicating that the survey would include three Yemeni provinces the first of them is Thamar.

Ms Valeria clarified that the survey would cover aspects of organisation, administration and investment opportunities as well as contribution to incorporate investment opportunities and rural activities into the investment programmes of the executive apparatuses.
