Almotamar.net - The foreign ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council States (GCC) have renewed support of their countries for the Yemeni republic and its security and stability and the backing up its efforts in confronting the challenges facing it.
That came in their addresses at the opening session of the second meeting of the ministerial council of the GCC foreign ministers held in the Qatari capital Doha.
In this regard the Omani foreign minister Yusuf Bin Malawi Bin Abdullah said, "The Yemeni republic is the most important neighbor for the GCC states, "confirming the GCC states for Yemen in facing the challenges it is experiencing. He also stressed that securing Yemen's security is connected to security of the GCC states. He said, "Out of this perspective the GCC states would continue coordination with the Yemeni republic at all levels."
On the other hand, the foreign minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Prince Saud al-Faisal has said that the relationship between Yemen and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia would remain distinguished , indicating that the first that protested infiltration of gunmen from the Houthi elements of sabotage into the Saudi territories was President Ali Abdullah Saleh.
The Saudi Prince has also expressed much thanking to the Kings and Emirs, the leaders of the GCC for their strong stand by the Kingdom of the Saudi Arabia in this regard. He considered hat as evidence that what connects among the GCC states of strong brotherly relations.
