Almotamar.net - Foreign Minister Dr Abu Bakr al-Qirbi said Saturday that the Yemeni intelligence is presently investigating in involvement of some unofficial elements in Iran in supporting the Houthi elements of terror and destruction.

The minister said the most important of what is taken into consideration is that Iran itself would not allow any form that any rebellious group inside Iran to raise arms against the Iranian government, indicating to the Iranian media support to the gangs of a;-Houthi terror and rebellion.

The minister said the Iranian media in supporting those saboteurs did not put Iran's interest into consideration, adding that he notified his Iranian counterpart that Yemen wants a change in the stance of the Iranian media first by reflecting the stand of the government and not to reflect desires of other sides.

Al-Qirbi also affirmed that Yemen did not ask a military assistance from the United States regarding confronting the Houthi gang of terror, indicating that cooperation between Yemen and America is related to combating terror.

A;-Qirbi said that what the United States of America has confirmed and the European stand as well in addition the stand of the Gulf Cooperation Council and all the Arab countries as was keen on unity and stability of Yemen because all know very well that Yemen's security affects on the region as a whole.

While the minister affirmed that what the Houthi gang of terror mentions of offering Saudi military help to Yemen as just words for an attempt to beg foreign sympathy with them , he confirmed that their violation of the Saudi borders was terrorism and aggression . he said, " I think that the Houthis would pay the price of that highly, " adding that on the other hand " we believe that the area of Yemen, the geographic nature and the length of the borders with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia represent a real problem against achieving the full security but the cooperation and coordination for the next period would put matters in their right place.

In an interview to Al-Ahram newspaper of Egypt al-Qirbi said that Yemen , after the unity and defeat of the secessionists , was hoping hat the state would concentrate its efforts on development and building institutions managing interests of Yemen according to the policy of the government but regretfully that hope became difficult for many reasons ; the most important of which was the economic side that impeded the government plans , adding it is a compound issue and its responsibility is not borne by the government alone and must be borne with it by the opposition partied that deal with sense of responsibility towards the developmental and political and other issues.
