Almotamar.net - Security authorities in Yemen have seized 234 thousand pieces of different types of weapons and thousands of bullets since the beginning of this year 2009 until the 10th of this month, according to the latest statistics issued by security administrations in the provinces.

The Ministry of Interior added that the weapons captured by the security apparatuses in implementation of the higher security committee plan and the ministry regarding prohibition of carrying in the capital and the provincial capitals which has been carried out in all the republic's provinces since he beginning of 2009.

The Interior Ministry leadership has indicated to the seizure of thousands of bullets of different ammunition I addition to explosives and more than 30 factories for manufacturing gunpowder besides tons of locally-made gunpowder.

According to the Interior Ministry Security Information Centre the ministry stressed that implementation of prevention of carrying weapons would continue in al provinces of the country and the decision of prevention includes al and there is o exception in this regard.
