During a meeting today with the elected new leadership of the of the General Syndicate of Educational Professions , attended by Minister of Education Dr Abdulsalam al-Jawfi and his deputy , the Premier congratulated the chairman and members of the Syndicate for their winning in the elections that took place last week.

The Premier also affirmed the government's keenness on supporting the educational trade unionist work and responsible partnership towards all issues related to educational process, giving prominence to the importance of the national role undertaken by the syndicate in contributing to development of the profession and enhancement of the culture of national unity among its members.

Dr Mujawar also asked the Minister of Education to present the recommendations issued by the General Conference of the Syndicate to the cabinet meeting to discuss them and set a timetable of their priorities and to work for put them in force according to available capabilities.
