Almotamar.net - Well-informed sources have said Thursday that president Ali Abdullah Saleh would announce a new initiative of comprehensive dialogue between different factions of the national work of both in power and opposition. This would be included in the President's speech to be delivered Thursday evening to the Yemeni people inside and abroad on the advent of Eid Al-Adha and the 42nf national Day of Independence and the 20th anniversary of signing the unity agreement.

The sources added that the President's speech would define the call for comprehensive dialogue without any pre stances, under the ceiling of the national constants at the top of which is without detriment to republican system and the national unity.

The sources expect that the initiative would include a soon call for holding a national dialogue among all political and social activities and civil society organisations on all the issues that concern the homeland at the current time.

In the same context related to the dialogue the 26 September weekly newspaper has on Thursday quitted a reliable source as saying that consultations are currently underway between the General People's Congress GPC and the Joint Meting Parties JMP for resuming the political dialogue in the next period in accordance with February agreement.

A reliable source has said that the GPC is keen on resuming the dialogue with political forces represented in the parliament, proceeding from its keenness and its national duties of engaging all in discussing the various issues that concern the homeland.

The source has expected that the next days would witness the call for resumption of dialogue on the issues included in February agreement signed by the parties represented at the parliament , among them the draft of constitutional amendments aimed at consolidation and development the democratic pursuit , the establishment of bicameral system for the legislative power , the transfer to large �powered local rule , expansion of people's participation in decision-making and development of the electoral system.
