BNA - Riyadh, Sept. 3, (BNA) The GCC Secretariat General signed in Riyadh on Sunday an agreement with Yemen on holding a conference to explore investment opportunities in Yemen along with a GCC products exhibition.
The agreement was signed by GCC Assistant Secretary General for Economic Affairs, Mohammed bin Abeed Al Mazroue and Yemeni Minister of Industry and Commerce, Ali Ahmed Al Sayaghi with the participation of Kenzay for Conferences and Training. The conference comes in line with a decision taken by the GCC Supreme Council to activate cooperation with Yemen in order to broaden ties in all fields with focus on economic areas in light of Yemeni endeavors to create an investment-friendly environment and attract GCC and foreign ventures. The conference is expected to review the GCC- Yemeni investments, investment opportunities, regulations and funding sides. It is worth noting that the conference will be held from 6 to 8 of next February in Sana'a where as the exhibition will be held from 8-12 of the same month.
