Almotamar.net - The Yemeni government has expected that the rate of unemployment would remain as it is in the year 2010 compared o the year 2009. This is based on prospects of speeding up implementation of many of the projects financed from outside and the beginning I building some of the foreign private sector projects and attracting part of foreign investments , especially investments coming from neighboring countries.

In a recent report obtained by almotamar.net the government also expects a reduction in unemployment rates in the years 2011 and 2012 compared to their level in the year 2010 as a result of a boom occurring in investment in those years because of activation of the use of donors pledges besides attraction of local and foreign private sector investment for carrying out many of productive projects in addition to beginning operation of services and productive projects currently under construction.

The report pointed out that unemployment constitutes one of the most dangerous challenges facing the Yemeni society especially under the high population growth and the increasing number of people entering the labour market.
