By:almotamar.net - ADEN: In a meeting with mosque preachers held yesterday in Aden governorate, governor of Aden Ahmed al-Kohlani affirmed mosque preachers are responsible for conveying the message of mosques and sticking to religious moderation.
Al-Kohlani noted preachers have to stick to the moderate religious speech that reflects the moderation and tolerance of Islam, warning of using mosques for personal and partisan interests and publicizing some candidates.
Preachers have to be honest and take the responsibilities set by the Islamic religion, and should not use mosques for personal or partisan interests and incite sedition among people, al-Kohlani said.
During the meeting, participants discussed and made suggestions about the mechanism on which preachers address should be based as the role of mosques lies in being worship places, not places for publicizing election campaigns or inciting sedition among people.
