Almotamar.net - A Tunisian plane has landed at Sana’a International Airport early Sunday, carrying humanitarian aid for the Saada displaced families. The plane carries a shipment of foodstuffs, medicines and blankets.

The plane was received at the airport by the Tunisian ambassador to Yemen Tawfiq Jaber and staff of the embassy, Yemen’s health undersecretary, and head of Saada branch of Yemeni economic authority, officials of the unit in charge of camps administration and representatives of the media outlets. The shipment was accompanied by representative of the Tunisian union for social solidarity and correspondent for the Tunisian TV.

This solidarity initiative by the Tunisian republic comes in response to the Tunisian President Bin Ali’s decision for offering assistance to the Yemeni republic in solidarity with the Yemeni people aimed to help Saada displaced families to overcome their difficult circumstances.

According to Almotamar.net the Tunisian ambassador praised the solidarity initiative of the Tunisian President saying it comes in consolidation of the bonds of cooperation and solidarity with the Yemeni people.

In his statements on this occasion the Tunisian ambassador has reaffirmed Tunisia’s support for Yemen’s unity, security and stability and welcomed the decision of stopping military operations in Saada , expressing his confidence in wisdom of the Yemeni leadership and its capability of overcoming current challenges.
