Almotamar Net - The United States of America has on Tuesday reaffirmed its support for a united, stable, democratic and prosperous Yemen. The US Secretary of State Hilary Clinton has said, in a press statement today broadcast by the US State Department website, The United States supports united, stable, democratic and flourishing Yemen and it has increased the assistance to Yemen in a noticeable percentage in the way enhancing its capabilities for facing security, economic and political challenges and President Barack Obama has demanded for more increases in the present proposed budget.

Almotamar.net - The United States of America has on Tuesday reaffirmed its support for a united, stable, democratic and prosperous Yemen. The US Secretary of State Hilary Clinton has said, in a press statement today broadcast by the US State Department website, The United States supports united, stable, democratic and flourishing Yemen and it has increased the assistance to Yemen in a noticeable percentage in the way enhancing its capabilities for facing security, economic and political challenges and President Barack Obama has demanded for more increases in the present proposed budget.

She emphasized that the US would continue in cooperation with international partners, including Yemen�s Friends, to ensure that Yemen people entertain benefits of the political, economic and social reforms and achieve their long-term development goals.

Secretary Clinton has also renewed the United States welcome of the decision of stopping military operation in the north-west region and establishment of the ceasefire by the government and the Houthi rebels.

She has also praised efforts of the committee entrusted with monitoring the implementation of ceasefire for the purpose of establishing peace and security as a prelude to beginning necessary reconstruction and building in the affected areas and in the way guaranteeing the end of this conflict completely.

The US Secretary of State has also expressed her country�s interest in improving the humanitarian condition of the displaced because of the war.

She added that for helping the displaced the United States offered about $19.3 million during the two fiscal years of 2009 and 2010. She has also urged the other donor countries to support the humanitarian organisations activities of international relief in Yemen.
