Abdul Razzaq al-Marouni has on Tuesday confirmed the killing of the leader of the Qaeda organisation in Abyan province Jmil al-Anbari who is from Modiah area, Samir al-Sanaani who is of a Saudi origin living in Luder area and Ahmed Um Zarba, in the air strike that targeted last Sunday elements of the Qaeda organisation in Jaizat Ahl Qatan of Modiah district.

Al-Marouni added that the three are of the most dangerous terrorist elements and from the security-wanted leaders of the Qaeda organisation and that their identities have been verified after examination of their dead bodies.

In a statement reported by September.net he affirmed that security authorities were continuing the chasing of the terrorist elements and the outlaws until they are caught and sent to justice.

An official security source said on Monday that the air strike was carried out after monitoring and follow-up of the terrorist elements from the Qaeda organisation and resulted in the killing of two of the leading elements that were planning to commit terrorist operations against vital installations.
