Almotamar.net - In its meeting on Tuesday chaired by Premier Ali Mohammed Mujawar, the cabinet referred information draft law presented by the minister of information to a ministerial committee chaired by deputy premier for defence and security affairs, the minister of local administration and membership p of ministers of information, legal affairs, justice, culture and the minister of state the, the Capital Mayor for complete consideration and presenting results to the cabinet for discussion.

The draft law is aimed to enhance mechanisms and means guaranteeing respect of the right to expression in of opinion with legitimate ways, publication of culture, activation of cultural dialogue through television and radio land
And satellite transmission or electronic and telephone so that to present an information message containing benefit for the society and enhancing information role in the process of enlightenment and development in all fields.

The Cabinet approved measures to reduce the bill of imports for luxurious goods in order to decrease its negative impact on the monetary stability in the country.

The cabinet also formed a team from ministry of industry, ministry of finance and customs authority to make a list for those luxurious goods to be discussed in an extraordinary meeting for the cabinet next Sunday.

The cabinet also approved changing accountings of corporations in Central Bank of Yemen from dollar into the Yemeni riyal as step to serve the monetary stability.

On the other hand, the cabinet formed a committee headed by deputy prime minister for defense and security affairs to study effective means of combating acts of smuggling.

The cabinet also approved a draft law on expatriates welfare fund in the light of results presented by the ministerial committee entrusted with revising he draft law and gave directives to concerned ministers for issuing it as a law.

The cabinet approved a memorandum presented by deputy premier for economic affairs , the minister of planning and international cooperation regarding the grant of the World Bank of the programme of rapid response to food crisis.
