Almotamar.net - Eritrean navy in the past two days had seized 10 Yemeni fishing boats while they were sailing in the international waters. The Eritrean authorities took those boats and their 98 fishermen to Musawa port.

Yemeni coastguards police in the Red Sea sector said Friday the Eritrean authorities released the 98 Yemeni fishermen and returned them on board of one boat, retaining the 9 other boats in Musawa port.

The released Yemeni fishermen arrived on Friday to Hudeida port while their other 9 boats remained retained with the Eritrean authorities.

Sea authorities at Hudeida port took statements of the fishermen on the incident in order to follow up procedures in the case and disclose its complications.
