Almotamar Net - SANAA- Human Rights minister Dr Khadijah al-Haisami Wednesday told alnotaman.net that human rights, teaching them and educating on them through education curricula constitute the essential dimension for the realization of sustainable development and work for upgrading the contents of education curricula.

Abdulaziz bin Braik - SANAA- Human Rights minister Dr Khadijah al-Haisami Wednesday told alnotaman.net that human rights, teaching them and educating on them through education curricula constitute the essential dimension for the realization of sustainable development and work for upgrading the contents of education curricula.

She added we are in need of genuine support for the national efforts the government exerts in the development of human rights along with attention paid to enhance the national and international efforts aimed at dissemination of the culture of human rights and teaching them as a subject. There must be an emphasis on the woman rights, who represents half of the society and the endeavor to rectify the failures and imbalances in the concepts degrading the woman status, adding that role can be played by educational curricula in the best presentation of our social issues.
The Human Rights Minister mentioned that in her opening of a workshop on the extent of human rights concepts presence in curricula of Aden University where the workshop was opened Wednesday. At the conclusion of her statement the minister pointed out that enlightenment of the citizen on his rights is the first step on the road of enjoying those rights.
