Almotamar.net - Meetings of the 10th session of the Yemeni-Omani ministerial joint committee begins in Sana’a Wednesday its meetings and co-chaired by Yemeni Minister of Transport Khalid Ibrahim al-Wazeer and his Omani counterpart Dr Khamis Bin Mubarak al –Alawi and the participation of a large number of official at concerned ministries and institutions in both countries.

An official at the Yemeni Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation told Almotamar.net that the meetings would discuss ways of developing and enhancing the economic relations between the two countries and pushing them forward for achieving the common interests for serving the two countries and peoples.

The source has drawn the attention to that there would be signing of a number of agreements, protocols , executive programmes and memos of understanding , while there are some draft agreements of cooperation still under discussion.

The source added that the proposed agenda would discuss subjects related to areas of trade, customs, social securities, environment, transport and meteorology, tourism, the private sector, roads, housing, agriculture, electricity and health.
