Almotamar.net - Twenty-five Yemeni fishermen, who were retained by Eritrean pirates, have arrived in Hudeida seaport, west Yemen.

The arriving fishermen said that Eritrean pirates had the day before yesterday intercepted them in the international waters using a Yemeni fishing boat for camouflage and took them with their 4 boats to an Eritrean area where they confiscated contents of their boats and then returned the Yemeni fishermen on board of ne of the 4 boats towards the p [ort of Hudeida while the other three boats were kept in the hands of the Eritrean pirates.

Security Information Centre mentioned that the leadership of the interior Ministry asked the Yemeni Foreign Ministry discussion of the case of the piracy against Yemeni fishing boats via diplomatic channels with Eritrean authorities. The aim is to find solutions to the problem that is repeated by Eritrean pirates who are used t kidnap Yemeni fishing bats in the high seas and in the international waters.
