Almotamar.net - A 5-Arab state summit is to be held in the Libyan capital Tripoli next Monday including President Ali Abdullah Saleh and leaders of Egypt, Qatar, Libya, and Iraq in addition to the Secretary General of the Arab League. The aim is a meeting of the 5-memberhigher committee that was approved by the Arab Summit held in Surt, Libya to supervise preparation of a document for development of the joint Arab action system based on the Arab visions [resented in this regard, mainly the Yemeni project on the establishment of the Arab State Union and the Libyan vision in this regard and the suggestions and ides of the rest of Arab countries on the development of the Arab Joint Action.


26 September Newspaper has quoted reliable sources as saying that the summit would discuss a working paper presented by the AL General Secretariat including what the quintuple ministerial committee, held at the foreign ministerial level recently in Cairo, has reached.

The sources have affirmed that Yemen's active participation in the meeting is aimed to upgrade the Arab joint action and to move to more developed horizons and ability for facing the challenges and achieving aspirations of the nation through its initiative for establishment of the Union of Arab States.

Yemen had proposed a complete draft for the constitution of Arab States Union that it suggests its establishment explaining principles of the Union, its aims, structures and mechanisms of its function,
