By: almotamar.net - SANA'A- An armed member of the Islah Party (Muslim Brotherhood in Yemen) has attacked Thursday the head of the General People's Congress (GPC)'s presidential campaign in the local constituency No.(23), Nashwan al-Tahesh, and opened fire on him.
A statement, of which almotamar.net obtained a copy, states that an armed member of the Islah Party, called Shamsan, attacked today at five o'clock p.m. the head of the General People's Congress (GPC)'s presidential campaign in the local constituency No.(23), in the Capital Secretariat, and opened fire on him, without injuring him. The police immediately rushed to the scene, but the offender could runaway. They are still pursuing him to look into the incident.
