Aidarous Norji - Aden (Yemen)-President of Aden University Dr Abdulwahab Rawih expressed his regret of the parties of the Joint Meeting (JMP) to deceive and delude the public opinion through their lies and skepticism in the General People�s Congress (GPC) capability of maintaining its long-term development course that its candidate for the presidential elections Ali Abdullah Saleh has adopted in his platform. Dr Rawih confirmed that the GPC candidate platform is more realistic and objective and the advantages achieved at various levels are the best evidence and enough to confront the JMP�s lies and writings of its press and candidates.


He has also lauded the president�s support for various Yemeni universities and his continued directives on the necessity of raising academic and administrative standard and infrastructures of universities so that to provide the country with educational outputs of no less important than universities in the world.
Aden University president also made it clear the university will honor a number academic, social and creative personalities in appreciation for their contributions to develop the university and developing the cultural and innovative awareness and that will also be on the occasion of the 31st anniversary of the university establishment, occurring on the 10th of September. He said the honoring will include all former presidents of the University of Aden and their deputies since its establishment in 1975. he added the celebration of Aden University coincides this year with the democratic festival of the people of Yemen, they are practicing in line with their constitutional rights culminated by presidential and local councils elections stabilized by virtue of wise leadership of president Saleh of Yemen.
