Almotamar.net - Yemen on Tuesday conducted a new round of negotiations with the United States of America in completion of bilateral negotiations concerning Yemen accession to the World Trade Organisation (WTO).

Head of the Office of Communication and Coordination with the WTO Dr Hamoud al-Najar said they had conducted a round of negotiations via the video conference in which he two sides discussed the legislative updates carried out by Yemen so far as part of the process of its accession to the WTO especially those related to the intellectual property related to trade.

Al-Najar added that they informed the American party that all draft laws pertaining to intellectual property were at the moment before the parliament for consideration and approval in the near future.

He affirmed that viewpoints of Yemen and the US were in agreement except for some details which Yemen is keen on reaching an agreement on them with the US.
