Almotamar.net - The Yemeni Businessmen Club (YBC) I to hold its 2nd conference for family companies under patronage of the Prime Minister, in cooperation with the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry. The theme of the conference is ‘Family Companies towards Institutional Work’. The conference is scheduled to be held in Sana’a on 29-30 September 2010.

According to a statement, Almotamar.net obtained, the conference would focus this year on a group of vital issues related to interests of the Yemeni trade companies and houses through lectures and workshops to be delivered and managed by a number of experts in this area.

The foreign lecturers include world experts representing investment companies working in the area of family companies from Egypt, Lebanon, the German World Institute for family companies, the regional bureau for International Establishment from Egypt in addition to a group of representatives for trading houses in Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Lebanon.

The conference aims at enhancing capability of Yemeni family companies for keeping pace with developments and challenges in a manner guarantees for them survival, continuation and growth as preserving those companies and supporting them has become a national necessity because more than 90% of the companies contributing to the national economy is family companies.

The conference is part of a series of conferences held by the Yemeni Businessmen Club in contribution to support the national economy.
