almotamar.net - SANAA-Deputy secretary of Yemen leadership of the National Arab Ba�ath Socialist Party Abdulwahid Hawash described announcement of sheikh Abdullah Bin Hussein AlAhmar, chairman of the higher body of the Yemeni Congregation for Reform party (Islah), and his saying of standing by the candidate of the national unanimity Ali Abdullah Saleh as a painful blow dealt to those who were talking in his name and opinion on the elections. Mr. Hawash also expected the announcement to be a great reflection in favor of voting for the candidate of the General People�s Congress.

Hawash said indicators point to a big dissent began to happen inside the Islah, opposing an approach that is adopted by leaderships deviated from the Islah general pursuit, which is represented by sheikh Abdullah bi Hussein al-Ahmar, adding this will affect the Joint Meeting Parties (JMP) he said the loud noise of the JMP is focused in the Islah party because the rest of the JMP are small formations following its orbit because they do not enjoy political influence and preoccupation in internal elections, astonishing how those parties are defeated even inside the Islah, pointing out that al-Ahmar statement confirmed that the JMP candidate play a role of organizational conspiracy, although of his trust he will not succeed.

Yemeni journalists chairman Nassr Yaha Mustapha praised the stand of sheikh al-Ahmar in his he announced his nomination for the presidential elections is Ali Abdullah Saleh. In his abatement published by News Yemen, he said the sheikh�s decision is reasonable and was expected that the sheikh would give priority to the homeland interests to party-linked interests and he is known for his wisdom and patriotism. He added that the sheikh is a wise leader who knows the value of men and appreciates them, saying the decision came in its appropriate timing in order to mitigate the present political congestion in the arena where we want the race to be ordinary without any political congestion.

On his part Dr. Abdulrahman al-Shami, professor of Information at Huddeida University the sheikh�s announcement of preferring the GPC candidate is a big addition to the popular and official unanimity on this candidate and a blow in the core dealt to the JMP whose press dared not reveal to their parties cadres or publish it to the public opinion in Yemen especially those of the Islah. He said ignoring this important interview implies a stance bearing much harm. Dr. al-Shami said the interview has revealed the stand of the sheikh and cleared much of ambiguity or maybe misunderstanding reaching the Yemeni public opinion because of inaccurate information circulated in this regards.
Al-Shami wondered the ignoring the interview faced by Islah party and the JMP press in an unprecedented manner reflecting a selectivity contradicting the responsibility. A meeting with a national personality of the weight of sheikh al-Ahmar is highly important and ha all elements that make it a topic caught by all Yemeni media instruments of their various orientations, let alone the press of the Islah as the sheikh is leader of the party.
