Almotamar.net, Saba - The State is with peace, development and construction in Sa’ada, President Ali Abdullah Saleh said in Sana’a Wednesday.

Speaking to sheikhs and high-profile social figures of Sa'ada province, Saleh said that the government has allocated billions for reconstructing the devastation of Sa'ada rebellion, pointing to an ad hoc committee in charge of assessing damage and evaluation of reconstruction works.

"We want Sa'ada people to work together for the sake of the province and for peace, stability and development and for encountering those, who want to raise sedition", the President said.

He highlighted the role the local council and parliament's members should play to oversee the province's reconstruction and tackle the citizens' issues.

The President stressed that Houthis must abide by the six-term deal, saying "they should prove their commitment to peace option via not assaulting citizens or attacking our brothers in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. They should not interfere in the local authority's affairs".

"The Saudi Arabia's security is Yemen's as well and vice versa" Saleh said.

He blessed any assembly for Sa'ada citizens aims to unify people to serve the public good, peace, security, stability and development.

During the meeting, President Saleh inspected the situations in the province and the exerted efforts to reconstruct Sa'ada and to bring peace back.
