almotamar.net - Hundreds of the Joint \Meeting Parties and cadres of the Yemeni Congregation for Reform Party, Islah, and the Yemen Socialist Party, Nasserite Unionist Organization in the governorate of Taiz have during the past days announced their withdrawal from their parties.

The members who have resigned from their political parties intend to join the General Peoples Congress (GPC) in a ceremony to be organized by the GPC branch in Taiz on Sunday.

Member of the Islah Shoura Council in Taiz Mohammed Muzahim called on the prominent members of those parties leaderships, calling themselves the JMP, to learn a lesson from the Ahzab (Parties) invasion, in an indication to the inevitability of the failure of the Islah alliance with political parties and warning the Muslim Brotherhood party in Yemen against the consequences of this alliance.
According to some sources a dispute is going on between the Islah branch of Taiz and its higher leadership concerning a host of stances and steps the leadership had taken without consulting the branches and middle leaderships and the bases, among those steps is the support for the JMP candidate.
