Almotamar.net, Saba - President Ali Abdullah Saleh received on Tuesday at the Republican Palace in Taiz the people who flocked to congratulate him upon Eid al Adha.

The people included Parliament and Shura members, local officials, social dignitaries, civil society leaders, security and army commanders and youth and woman leaders. He exchanged with them congratulations on Eid.

They expressed their pride with all achievements and giant changes in various sectors under Saleh's leadership, saying Yemen obtained a high position at regional and international levels because of the wise leadership of Saleh and strides he caused.

They also underlined the significance of Saleh's speech delivered on the eve of Eid which contained national conceptions that showed his interest in promoting the democratic experience and aligning the Yemeni people to serve their nation.

Moreover, they hailed his call for working together to make comprehensive national dialogue a success and placing the nation interest above other interests.

We bless the call for holding the next parliamentary elections on time and the president's way of dialogue to address all national issues, they said.
