Almotamar.net - President Ali Abdullah Saleh and his Eritrean counterpart Isaias Afewerki have held in Aden Tuesday talks, discussing enhancement of bilateral relations and areas of cooperation between Yemen and Eritrea.

The two leaders have also discussed results of the two leaders� summit held recently in the Eritrean capital Asmara, at the top of which the activation of the two countries joint committee and cooperation in the areas of fisheries and trade-exchange.

The Yemeni and the Eritrean leaders have also in their today meeting held consultation and exchanged viewpoints on recent regional and international developments of common interest , especially the situations in Somalia and the African Horn area.

The two Presidents emphasized the keenness on coordinating efforts of the two countries in the way serving security and stability in the region.

The two leaders have also confirmed their keenness on strengthening bilateral relations and pushing forward areas of the two countries� and peoples� cooperation and coordination for the achievement of their common interests.

The Eritrean President Isaias Afewerki has later left Aden for his country after attending the opening ceremony of the Gulf 20 Championship held in Aden Monday.

President Saleh has seen off the Eritrean President at Aden Airport, in addition to Speaker of the Yemeni parliament and a number of ministers and senior Yemeni officials.
