Almotamar.net - In its meeting on Wednesday presided over by Prime Minister Ali Mohammed Mujawar, the Yemeni cabinet praised the efforts that were exerted and the continuous follow-up by President Ali Abdullah Saleh for the distinguished preparation for the Gulf 20 Football Cup Championship , opened Monday in the Yemeni economic capital Aden.

The cabinet also praised the efforts of the higher supervising committee , the organizational committee , all the specialized committee , the local authorities in provinces of Aden, Abyan and Lahj and the security committees that greatly contributed to prepare the climates for the success of the championship.

The cabinet pointed out that the efforts and the spectacular atmospheres of the championship indicate ability of the Yemenis of organizing this type of sport championship, congratulating the political leadership and the Yemeni people on holding the championship.

O the other hand the cabinet welcomed the delegations participating in the championship; the states of the Gulf Cooperation Council and Iraq. This participation has emphasized the depth of Yemen relations with its brethren and in the meantime confirmed the confidence of the brethren in Yemen capability of organisation and providing the factors necessary for the success of the championship.

The cabinet also praised the big Gulf audience and the big presence of the masses of Yemen, especially the masses of the province of Aden and the neighbouring provinces.

The cabinet expressed its wishes for the national team and other participating teams in Gulf 20 of success and presentation of honourable football shows.
