Almotamar.net - The Higher Security Committee (HSC) in Yemen has Wednesday condemned the criminal act that targeted a gathering of citizens in Al-Jawf province and resulted in number f innocent victims.

In a statement, a source at the HSC said, �We condemn and denounce this incident and other events and crimes which target the security, stability and public peace and the innocent citizens and violate teachings of our Islamic religion as well as values and traditions of our Yemeni society for abandoning all forms of extremism, exaggeration, terror and violence.�

The source added that the incident contradicts the values of freedom and democracy in which the Yemeni people believed and committed to as approach and style of life, away from violence and violation of the constitution and the law.

The source emphasized that security authorities and the local authority in the province were conducting investigations into the criminal incident in order to disclose its complications and would chase those involved in it and to send them court.
