Almotamar.net, Saba - The newly-appointed members of the Supreme Commission for Elections and Referendum (SCER) were sworn in on Sunday before President Ali Abdullah Saleh.

President Saleh issued days ago a republican decree appointing the following nine judges as the commission members:

Muhammad al Haimi, Saba al Hajji, Khamis al Dini, Yahya al Eryani, Samya Mahdi, Sharaf al Mahbashi, Muhammad al Salmi, Muhammad Nasser and Ali Suleiman Ali.

After the oath, Saleh met with the nine judges and congratulated them on the trust given to them.

You should work as a single team and carry out your responsibilities efficiently, courageously and devotedly, he addressed them, urging them to learn form the previous election experiences to advance and improve their performance.

Your duty must be independent; Saleh told them, as he wished them all the success and urged to arrange for the upcoming elections well.
