By: almotamar.net - SHABWA- Deputy Minister of Education, Abdul-Aziz Bin Habtour, and a number of prominent social and tribal figures began efforts to release four tourists kidnapped Sunday in al-Sae'd district, Shabwa governorate, sources have told almotamar.net.

Sources added prominent tribal figures of al-Sae'd district, including Âl Abdullah tribe that began mediation efforts with the kidnappers to release the hostages, have requested Bin Habtour to come to the district and solve the problem.
Two German and two French tourists were kidnapped Sunday morning by four Islah Party members who belong to the Âl Abdullah tribe. One of the kidnappers is a candidate for the local council elections.
