Almotamar.net - Assistant Secretary General for political affairs at the General People’s Congress (GPC Sheikh Sultan al-Barakani has ruled out the Joint Meeting Parties (JMP) ‘s boycotting the parliamentary elections , confirming that the next parliament would witness large presence of the parties.

Al-Barakani has emphasised that the elections are constitutional commitment and cannot be changed into a comedy issue and they do not derive their legitimacy from the JMP but from the people who said they are the owners of the real interest and owner of the first affair in the issue of elections.

In an interview to Annas newspaper, al-Barakani added that it would have been better for the JMP to work for implementing the agreements instead of shedding tears on them.
